Forums - Gaming - Media and Press who won E3

after careful consideration id put it like this:

ms 1 - just too many games im dying for like conviction, me 2, alan wake, etc

nintendo 2 sony 3 - they edge out sony with the metroid announcement alone basically, rest of announcements kinda tied for me with them

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

I think they said they just sent out the dev kits, so any good game won't be on the market for another 2 years. By then 360 will be at what 50 million? You think that game will sell well?

Yea cuz they're not stupid enough to release a game just for the camera. Pls don't tell me u think that. Of course they're gonna be naysayers from day one but if done right ( if done right) people will eventually cross over.  And anyway...wasn't one of the demos Burnout? I'm pretty sure Natal wasn't just sent to Criterion....

Did i say that? Shovelware will probablly be availble at launch from MS internal studios.

Yea but they're probably be two or three good games in there given Ms's record at launch titles. Btw which is that directed to the first comment or the last?

Sony´s purple wand and Natal got no reaction from me, so I just focused on the games I´m interested in, and having said that, this year for me is:

PS3 > Wii > 360

Next year:

PS3 = 360 > Wii...so far.

As the only person in this thread who was actually at all three conferences, I'm going to cop out and give all three platform holders a 9 - three-way tie!

Oh, and anybody not happy with Nintendo's conference never liked Nintendo in the first place so their opinion doesn't matter! hehe

Excellent opinion, I am proud of you sir!

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I wonder how much M$ is paying the press.

I don't see why Microsoft should win over either of the other 2, as far as I can tell they didn't actually demonstrate the Natal, only a product vision where "actual functionality may vary". It looked like an ambitious and over-the-top advert. I hope they can pull it off as it looks cool, but that shouldn't win them the show.

Sony showed a lot of games and Nintendo showed some pretty interesting games too, and Wii motion+, which is out very soon is looking a lot better then I thought. In fact they all showed a lot of good exclusives and games.

I'm beginning to think that "winning" E3 just means you've spent the most money on your show to please idiot journalists.

Microsoft did demonstrate Natal in action both on stage and using some different videos.

With or without Natal Microsoft still won easily, Nintendo was second in my book, Sony was not in good shape this year...

How can these pricks give Nintendo 6/10? They had some MAJOR surprises and probably 1 of THE games of this gen. Talk about biased.
