It's a Final Fantasy MMO...consider the hype for me killed.

The battle system is said to be similar to SP FF's, btw. Even better.

I originally started my post with "JESUS H. CHRIST, Live is only $4 a month!!"  Then, I considered this, and wrote it the other way.  I still felt the need to mention the retarded "at least I don't have to pay $20 a month to go to the PSN!" comments I've seen lately.

This was never confirmed to be free-to-play. Someone else posted an article with no source saying it would be free and now darth runs with it and says its confirmed. I will say the same thing here i said in the other thread. During SE's Q&A for FFXIV pricing was brought up as a question. SE said they had not decided on a pricing method and that it would be discussed at a later time. There was no confirmation of being free/monthly subscription or anything else. Of all ppl darth should know better than to run with info that hasnt even been confirmed yet....

I can't get hyped about final fantasy 11, 2.

It's nice to have as a timed exclusive or console exclusive.... but no, this won't change anything, just like FFXI didn't do anything for the PS2 or the 360.

Should be a lot of fun, though.

This is not going to be free, and if you want dedicated support (patches, fixes, class balancing) and content you will pay for this monthly. Also, this is not as big because PC is where most MMOs are played.

I am gonna pick this up day 1. I am looking forward to it! WHMs Unite!

Don't get your hopes up people, it won't be free to play!

It is not console exclusive, it will be on PC too!
