Besides, I've been working on some of my real life friends to buy a PS3. Where we live, most everyone is a 360 only gamer.

Why buy a PS3? I've seen broken and then repaired 360s sell for over $150 plenty of times on eBay. I would rather spend another $50 and get a new one with RROD warranty then dish out $400 and have to start over buyingg another system and their games.

You actually made a good choice. The Arcades are better models than the Elites by default. They have a built in 256MB memory card, the Pros and Elites don't. So you can theoretically have more room than an Elite ever can.
