I don't understand what you mean. All I was saying was that they tend to update their hand-helds at least once, and they may have started a trend with their consoles as well. No judgement is implied, its a sound strategy TBH.

Maybe I should've said, "how's that a bad thing?" I asked this since took your post about updating handhelds in a negative way. But now that you cleared it up and I read your further posts, I will dwell back in my cavern...

Nice article, I have to agree with the author.

Golden Sun DS hello?

Dude, Nintendo could care less. Folks are still buying Wiis like hotcakes, and the DSi's only real comp is from the PSP - and it's not even close. Why try? Not trying to flame, but really - Nintendo can underwhelm but will the average consumer even care? No.

I agree there doing a great job for the casual gamers.

Where the hell are people getting the idea that this is a DS port? o_O

Well it's the same exact title as the DS version with a Wii slapped on at the end.

Because, you know, this is the first time ever that a sequel to a game has used the same name. >_>

I'm just telling you the reason. Plus, we've had many old games go ported with Wii somewhere in the title. (RE4: Wii Edition, Play on Wii series, etc.)

You forgot Mario Kart Wii which is a port of Mario Kart DS.

of course you do

I LOVE ICELAND!

Y'know, post E3, I have to agree Nintendo's showing was the worst.

Aside from those two big announcements, they had nothing, really. I mean the stuff the had playable on the show floor was kind of weak compared to others. Scribblenauts aside, there weren't many Wii/DS games winning awards.

I had the complete opposite perspective ... How many XBox 360 or PS3 games that impressed people will be released in 2009 and weren't on display at E3 2008 or before?

To win E3 every year you just have to keep delaying games so that you can rehash the previous E3 announcements (of course with a new trailer or a new release date).

Bonus points if you convince people that 360 ports of PC games are actually 360 exclusives.
