Forums - Sales - NATAL is the Wii Killer -- FOX NEWS, GMTV + More PRESS agree!

Will you need 2 of these just to play a game with 2 or more players?

"...the best way to prepare [to be a programmer] is to write programs, and to study great programs that other people have written. In my case, I went to the garbage cans at the Computer Science Center and fished out listings of their operating system." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)

"Hey, Steve, just because you broke into Xerox's house before I did and took the TV doesn't mean I can't go in later and take the stereo." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)

Bill Gates had Mac prototypes to work from, and he was known to be obsessed with trying to make Windows as good as SAND (Steve's Amazing New Device), as a Microsoft exec named it. It was the Mac that Microsoft took for its blueprint on how to make a GUI.

""Windows [n.] - A thirty-two bit extension and GUI shell to a sixteen bit patch to an eight bit operating system originally coded for a four bit microprocessor and sold by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.""

Malstrom called it.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

@TheSteve

thanks!

You know, that's an amazingly simple question, but absolutely flew off my radar. Casuals don't usually game alone.

we'll have to wait and see

No games... an expensive price tag and the wrong audience. Unless things change I don't see this ever coming out for the 360. It would make much more sense to include this as the standard controller for the next generation Microsoft console.

Whoever gets a working mind reader incorporated into their next console is going to win the show.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

Judging by the video, in which an entire family was playing at the same time on one of them (including at one point the mom and daughter playing tennis side by side), I would guess that's not the intention.  Amazingly simple question, but an even simpler answer if you watched the video, or any of the news coverage of the tech (it's all over the place right now...  almost overkill).

You WILL need two to swap clothes with your friends via face-phone, however.

Hell, this thing can't be used in a lot of games. It surely doesn't replace the Wii remote as it neither features buttons nor a control stick.

I really like Natal and I think it is cool but you should like it for what it is: A cool way to play games not a "Wiimote-killer" as there are too many games you can't play with Natal.

What games can Natal not play? The only problem I see with Natal is freedom of movement of the body backward, forward, left and right. They might need to add a directional pad.
