Forums - Sony - Gamespot LOVES SONY's Motion Controller!

http://uk.gamespot.com/pages/features/hotspot/index.php?id=1308

Listen to the way they talk about it, they LOVED IT

most of us got too blinded by it copying the wii, its a great addition & actually works really well & comfortably unlike the sixaxis (not trolling at alm just my opinion friends)

I listened to it - They seem impressed - I suppose it had much more substance than Microsofts Project Natal

Natal shows promise but I'm not sure the tech is there yet plus Sony's motion is much more the type of thing I'd use as it is a physical controller

???!!

More substance ? Explain ?

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

The reason that it has more substance is that we have a release date for the motion controller. Please say that Sony don't let it take over, I think everyone would agree that Uncharted was far more impressive than the motion controller

Why'd you bring (the far superior) Natal in this thread? It only proves how much of a threat it is to some people. LOL

Microsoft although more Impressive, featured a lot of what it could potentially do whereas Sony showed the infinite possibilties. Plus Sony gave a rough release date.

Sony showed more of what it can do. Although I admit Micrsofts is more impressive than Sony's. Microsoft really should have waited to put it into their next console and have some killer apps to show off with it.

I believe Sonys has a higher chance of success and games could be produced for both Wii and PS3 as both motion controllers have similair functions.

Well.. I'm not saying that Natal looks better or shows more potential or whatever... but what I have seen from Sony...

It really gave me the feeling that it was more of a quick response to the positionning of the other brands into motion sensor solutions.

IMO, it is so unfinished that it opens the doors to ... practically whatever people imagine it could be .. and that Sony has no real idea on where to go...

Sony's live demo of their tech went well, whereas the only live demoing of Natal was pretty terrible. (I don't need to copy and paste the two gifs)

Natal is definitely a higher tech item, but it shouldn't have been shown. (Neither should Sony with that awful design. They did say they were going to re do it though.)

Well, it could take off.

Not heard a bad thing about it yet from the real press.
