Console exclusives don't matter. No matter how many times microsoft throws the words exclusive at certain games, the word loses its merit because you can play the same games on another platform (pc). I could avoid buying an xbox 360 and buy a game I want for my pc. Console exclusives don't give credit to a gaming console because they're not true exclusives. True exclusives are what makes consumers want to buy a particular console. That's what made the playstation and playstation 2 very successful.

I can avoid buying same game on PC and BTW PC/360 still is Exclusive to Microsoft. I will say it again Xbox 360/Playstation 3/Wii are in competition with eachother the PC is all by it's loneseome except with a little MAC competition at times. Give it up you can't win! No different than PS3/PC game it is still a Playstation 3 exclusive. Why might you ask... Well because no other console has the title simple concept nuff said next question...moving on!

And I can avoid buying the game on 360 and avoid buying a 360 altogether. I don't know how many times people have to point this out, but Microsoft get no money from a PC game sale unless they publish it. The same goes for Sony. I have no idea how you can say the PC is not in the same market. They sell gaming PC's for a reason. It may be small compared to the sale of business PCs but it is still a significant number. And as I've mentioned before, Microsoft has noticed this as well. That's why there most popular 360 franchises (Halo, Gears, Fable) don't come to PC until much later, if at all. These games matter more for the sale of a 360 then Mass Effect, Bioshock or Left 4 Dead. This is especially relevant in markets where PC gaming is popular (e.g. Most of Europe).

Around the Network

There is just one difference between 360 and Windows platforms. There are NO license fees for games on Windows. Anyone can make and sell games on Windows without paying anything for MS (and without permission from MS) if you use third-party APIs and dev tools.

360/PC is 'MS exclusive' and 'console exclusive' but not just 'exclusive'. And if there's a Linux version, it's not MS exclusive - it's only console exclusive. What's so hard about that? PC, albeit generally considered smaller than consoles, is still a major platform liked by many, and should not be completely ignored.

BS... I will never buy a 360, only a PS3, and Il still play games like Mass Effect or Alan Wake... hows that? Its MS exclusive, true, but not 360... same is with multiplatform PS games ;)
