Forums - Gaming - Sony have won E3 hands down, Sony Leader approved!

I typed this in a post a couple of days ago and it seems appropriate now. Perhaps i should start a clairvoyancy service ; )

"I feel like starting three threads titled.

Sony has officially won E3:

Microsoft has officially won E3:

Nintendo has officially won E3:

There will be heaps of people agreeing with me and disagreeing with me and after 2 days of bickering, game lists, tantrums and a bunch of VG $ for me we will have nothing like a concensus. There is no 'winning' E3, in the end the fanboys will side with their own system 99 times out of 100.

Perhaps some of the multi-system owners might objectively pick a winner but honestly why would they bother when they've just discovered the crap load of new games they get to play on all three systems they own."

The Sony conference was sublime and outstanding. Much respect to Sony for once again delivering. God of war 3 only possible on ps3.

OMFG GOD OF WAR 3 WILL OWN!!

Discuss while I watch GOW3!

*I meant approves lol*

You have to be kidding?!?

Sony was the worst out the three by far, mostly just PSP and video montages, oh, and a motion control that wasn't even the final product on a tech demo that looked worse than N64, yeah, great one sony, real win there.....

Sony focused more on the PSP than the PS3, what does this tell you? they are hoping the PSP will be the money maker and is why they are trying to support it more, the PS3 is fighting a losing battle specially when Sony hardly show anything for it and stick it at the end of their conference, no PS3 pricecut, no PS3 slim, total fail from Sony.

Microsoft owned E3 followed by Nintendo......

@fknetwork well its harder for sony to focus on the ps3 because they have devote time on the psp and less now on the ps2 and if theres time the ps3 so sony did a good job considering also they didn't pull a ms and kill there last gen system to have all the time in the world to work one 360 which i thought wasn't on there mind it was natal

yeah the new metal gear is multi plat ,no offence but i m not impressed with nintendo realeasing ..........another mario!!!WOW theres only like a million marios already out there plus nintendo got owned by sony and microsoft

umm btw its not a sequal to MGS4 its a spin off,psp gets the sequal or prequel whatever and yeah nintendo got owned by both microsoft and sony because their motion sensor controllers (sony) or motion sensing thing (microsoft) are so much better than nintendos wii remote.

The weirdest thing that occured to me is that we now know that MS has more exclusives coming out this holiday season than Sony does. 2 days ago, everyone was saying just the opposite...o.O

Nobody won. They all pleased their followers.

Being in 2nd feels so much better than being in 3rd

Sorry OP, but I'm afraid you're way off on this one!

Both Microsoft's and Nintendo's conferences had several big surprises, like MGS Rising on the 360, Project Milo, not 1 but 2 new Mario games (and they're not even crappy spinoffs!), and a kick-ass, brand spankin' new Metroid courtesy of Team Ninja, amongst other things.

The only actual surprise announcement at Sony's conference was FFXIV Online as a PS3 exclusive and their me-too motion sensing controller... everything else shown was known about or leaked before hand, none of which was really surprising or shocking to anyone. Not only that, but what's up with Square releasing TWO FF games in the same year?!? I think people are far more excited about XIII at this point, plus don't forget DS and Wii owners will be getting DQ IX and X respectively within the next year and a half, so FFXIV Online is gonna have a ton of competition just from SquareEnix alone!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I understand that totally but Sony could have still made the PS3 parts a LOT LOT LOT better, we already knew about everything they showed, no GT5 this year, no on stage demo of GT5, no heavy rain, no major news on PSN network, no PS3 price cut, no PS3 slim, motion control not even final design, tech demos not that impressive, they very much copied the wii with the motion control, MS went far beyond anything SONY and Nintendo offered in terms of motion,

Just underwelmed really, PSP was A+ though, much better than Nintendo DS lineup,

The main thing I remember from their conference is that ice-cream cone-controller, and the fact that they got laughed at by the audience. XD
