Anyways, I will be buying

New Super Mario Bros Wii
Golden Sun DS
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Metroid Ninja Whatever
Mario RPG Fighting Bowser From the Inside DS

four of which I didn't know existed prior to today, and I'll possibly buy more but who knows.

Games that support Wii Motion Plus besides the ones we already knew of. Instead we get a Little Big Planet Clone, another Mario, more Mario and more Mario, another Metroid rehash, a sequel to a boring RPG series, stupid usergenerated content stuff and another lame entry in the Final Fantasy universe.

Regarding Metroid, I guess Team Ninja was chosen because they have experience with boobs. The worst thing about the conference was that the best third party games to show were a FPS from a crappy developer and two railshooters of which the Wii already has enough of anyway.

I didn't even realize it was Metroid until the suit started to assemble lol, I was like.... WHOA!!??!?!?!?

Who really cares who had the "better" show anyway? At least Nintendo showed up this year. If they had shown Motion Plus Zelda they would've brought down the roof though.

Though, if you think of it from a different angle, it can be used, like SMG2 said, to sense fear levels. Fear is directly correlated with heartrate. If you've ever been truly afraid, you'd know that it affects your stamina. Might be an interesting tool for a survival horror game.

Team Ninja has a questionable track record of building games around boobs.

Nintendo has a track record of taking potentially good but largely directionless developers (like Silicon Knights and Retro Studios) and making them do incredible things.

My hopes are high.
