Forums - Microsoft - Best and Worst Parts of Microsoft's E3 Conference

This thread is for the purpose of saying which part of Microsoft's conference you thought was the best, and which part was the worst. They showed a lot, so I'm sure everyone's got their own opinion.

Best: Beatles Rock Band. When I heard some of my favorite songs playing alongside that psychadelic trailer, I knew something was magical. And then when Paul and Ringo walked on stage, my inner fanboy exploded. Shame they didn't know what they were talking about, but hey, I'm sure they got paid a lot for doing that.

Worst: Joy Ride. From the second they showed the trailer, the words "MARIO KART RIPOFF" were in my mind. The use of avatars was just shameful.

I thought the MGS announcement was the best.
The camera thingy I am not to sure about.

Best- The big games being revealed, NATAL and MGS.

Worst- The facebook/twitter woman.
Don Mattrick
Way too long on the Beatles.

@Carl Felicia Day is cute!

Best: Better Media offerings and great games
Worst: Showing Natal before it has been fully realized. Right now it seems like it's not very polished and has minimal game implementation.

I agree with your worst, Don Mattrick has a face you just want to slap doesn't he?

Best: Alan Wake, Splinter Cell, announcement of MGS: Rising
Worst: Facebook, Twitter, Natal presentation

Best: All the huge games shown / Milo
Worst: Joy Ride and the Epic games Arcade game.

I had no problem with Don Mattrick. It's just that after the 10th time he said the 360 is the best console this generation, it started to get a bit annoying. Regarding Facebook, I'm a big fan of the site, and even I wanted to fall asleep watching that part of the presentation. Really pointless.

Best -

Final Fantasy XIII Spring 2010 release date... but likely later in UK
Modern Warfare 2 gameplay was great
I was impressed with SC and AW, but I won't be buying either
The Beatles intro was really impressive
The way they moved through it quickly
The tech behind Natal
Pontential HD on demand, but I doubt it will work on my internet connection

Worst-

Don Mattrick
The rubbish arcade racer that I have forgotten
Don Mattrick
Me not caring about the Natal
Don Mattrick
Lionhead not making a proper game this year
Don Mattrick
Too much on the social stuff that I did not care about
Don Mattrick
The way they went on about how Forza 3 was the definitive game and all the customisation stuff
Don Mattrick
The distinct lack of Mass Effect 2 and Mistwalker

Oh and I have mentioned?

Don Mattrick, he was close to Cammie in terms of hatred

Best : Natal, Alan Wake, Halo ODST / Reach
Worst : Facebook / Twitter, Tony Hawk Ride, no Rare / MMOs
