It looks impressive coming from the devs that are making it but it definitely doesnt look better then Gears 2. Its got some nice art direction but gears is just alot cleaner with their details while this looks a bit tacky here and there.

Ill keep my eye on it but for now im still going to pass on this game (not my type of game).

well we will have to see when final game is out, i mean this game will mainly be played in dark areas as thats what the game setting is. but its certainly a looker.

Hard to say if it looks as good as Gears, let alone better. We'll see, though. I like the idea and art style quite a lot. Looking forward to it!

Yup definitely a looker and Tecmo have done a great job with that. But i think we can all agree in its current state its not up to par with Gears 2 graphics. Time will tell if they iron out the game and clean up the details so as i said ill keep an eye on it as im interested in if a company like Tecmo can beat a powerhouse that is Gears in terms of graphics.

It does look like a fun game (i like the part where he throws the chick at the enemy) and hope it supports local and online co-op.

Local Co-op...they have to put that there. I remember playing Gears 1 with a friend at his place. We clocked the game in one sitting.

this looks worse than first Gears of War graphically and gameplaywise it's nothing like Gears at all.

Looks even more boring than Gears...

Until I see an HD trailer on my TV, I wont say it looks better than Gears 2. Does it have the possibility, sure. But I am interested in this game, It looks alot like Gears in the fact that its a TPS with a good cover system. I like the Futuristic/Fantasy style to it as well. I will be keeping my eye on this.

Lol, that's what I was thinking!  The whole first half (basically, the part with most of the talking) was one of the campiest things I've seen in a while.  I think they'll easily out-cheese Gears with this :)

In terms of graphics?  It definitely doesn't compete in that second gameplay link someone posted, but some of the gameplay in the main trailer came pretty close, I thought.  Of course, it's coming out over a year after... 

Highlights were definitely the huge difference between the way the two main characters fight and the crazy environments twisting and crumbling all over the place.

Leave it to a Gears of War clone to increase the character model fuglyness of that game 10x. It looks that the main character of this game is suffering from some sort of facial deformity.
