So then spend $37 on a sequel to Final Fantasy IV.

But is it a full-fledged sequel? I got the impression that it wasn't exactly a AAA product (as it SHOULD have been), which dampens my enthusiasm considerably. Plus, it risks tainting my precious memories of the real game. Not logical, I know, but there you have it.

What RPGs have released lately? Little King's Story isn't out in America for another 2 months!

Rune Factory is my second favourite RPG this gen, very close to Valkyria Chronicles. And yes, I'm in Europe and got Little King Story, but I don't see the issue to US players. They can import it from Europe, the same I import a lot of them from the US. It's a global market ;) I'm only saying this in case he is not aware of past releases, not ofensively :) I'm quite sure he didn't play all the RPG's previously released: Super Paper Mario, ToS:DotNW (spin-off, IMO still worth it - better than Wii on the closet), Opoona, Baroque, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Final Fantasy: Chocobo's Dungeon, etc.

Regardless of quality, none of these have been released in the last few months.

And I am not buying a freeloader so I can play a game a few months later.

I haven't downloaded it yet so I personally can't say much about its quality, but user feedback has generally been positive so far.

If this Shiren is actually good, I will get it. However, the last Shiren for the DS sucked balls. I traded that back in less than a day after getting it.
