no, there were some press releases and screenshots handed out right before E3.

Red steel 2 looks amazing, hopefully the controls will be good for this one (Though based on the demo at E3 it looks like the crappy control scheme will be the default one). |
The controls will be customizable like the Conduit. I could go on and say more but IGN has an article and a video walkthrough of the game.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

Yeah, I thought it was coming this summer
@ happysquirell, I can't say I am too sad about more select titles, i.e. only the very big budget games coming to PS3, they are the only ones I buy! The games I was think of more were the new Ghost Recon announced for this year, and the strongly rumoured Rainbow Six, both of which have had very successful games recently, and have their own dedicated teams that just work on them, but maybe we will have to wait until next E3
Red Steal 2 really impressed.
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
Ubisoft really could have been to the Wii what Rare was the N64.
At least they are getting their act together finally, but I think they left a lot of money on the table by dicking around for so long.

Which is why Ninty is making money hand over fist. They've expanded the market, so much so 360 is now trying to get in on the action. Which I find funny. To hear the 'hardcore' tell it, MS did everything right. Released all the 'right' games, locked in all the 'right' franchises, and yet their one year head start doesn't stand up very well. Looks like Nintendo was right. There are numerous companies that lie dead in industries and markets that didn't grow and expand. If 360 truly is the hardcore system, it's sales only seem to prove that that hardcore market is smaller than we think. Perhaps even ... niche?
Arguments can be made that hardcore gamers buy more games, more often. And I believe this to be true. But then again the 360 isn't printing the monies like the Wii and DS.
