like we dont look stupid waggling around, not trolling just keeping it real.

Direct hit with a truth torpedo.

I'm pretty sure that the more fun I'm having, the dumber I look.

Natal has a lot of possibilities. But just like the wiimote, nobody is going to see all these possibilities right off the start, and there will be some unexpected limitations.

We'll see how many of the ideas in Microsoft's demonstration actually pan out. I'd suggest waiting to see what software gets cooked up for the peripheral before you judge its merits.

Oh, and more fun. Have a good time holding your arms out and steering a car, holding nothing. Better keep those arms in the same spot, 'cause if you go and lower them it's going to register in the game.

That's gonna feel GREAT.

That's the exact same thing I think about having to point the wiimote at the TV constantly to use the pointer.  Go figure.

...

I'll probably just buy the natal out of curiosity (the my wii) and not ever play it basically, but it seems cool from a distance.

I think people are forgetting you can also use guns and stuff and the camera could register it as the controller, and you would have the same controls as a wii game. (Which isn't a bad thing, when it's accurate and well implemented.)

You mean the sudden vortex that will erase every sony fans comment regarding the natal? I doubt they will even remember it happened.

Bah, with Natal the new star wars games can now be played with plastic light sabers.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Can someone please explain what the fuck the Natal is?

Will the vortex also erase every comment about the Wiimote? ;)

Wow, damage control already? Don't start getting all scared of it now, it hasn't even been released yet.

Racing games, fighting games, flight games will be simply phenominal if done right with this new tech. Other games I have yet to see, but Project Natal is simply, as Peter would call it, revolutionary. Its getting as close to true VR as ever.

like SSJ already pointed out in another thread, it's an evolution, not a revolution =P.
