This will mean little to the future of the 360. It will not gather large development support. Sorry. The only way for Microsoft to possibly get this rolling would be to force co-development between the Natal and the controller in contracts with developers and that sure is never going to happen. Without MS going balls to the wall behind this device, it'll always just be another Eyetoy.
The tech behind it is impressive though, but it is limited in it's potential with more traditional genres, similiar to the iPhone. There's a reason the Wii mote and nunchuck have buttons on them and didn't go all motion. I feel like it's ability to control the 360's menu is going to be it's best feature outside of maybe a game or two.
