Forums - Sales - Why are 360 owners saying PS3 is FINISHED?

@palmino

where did I put saver?

& to save what, a console selling less than 10K of a console half its price

lets be practical here, PS3 doesn't need to be saved in any shape or form.

I think I would buy a PS3 if it required assembly as long as it cost a little less and you get a good warranty with it.

No cause being the last gen market leader with a console that pushes the least numbers of hardware with the worse margin (at a loss) is very healthy.

I'm not saying 360 is doing good but hey, far better then PS3. The actualy can make profit a half the price, PS3 can't make it at 399.

The "at half the price" argument would work if Sony made double the money as MS on each console. The make less money, and losses money.

But hey, you buy Sony stocks and be a good boy.

Predictions for 2009:

360: 39-42 PS3: 31-34 Wii: 67-70

Future projection

Wii will hit 100 million before christmas 2010 (made december 2008)

NDS Family will have sold and shipped more then PS2 at the end of 2009 (made january 2009)

Because it's a fact. It has good hardware, wi-fi, a browser, a great gaming library, blu-ray, a HDD in every PS3... how is it not finished?

I dunno when SONY still has GT5, the best selling exclusive game of last generations sequel, how can people say they are finished?

isn't that like saying Xbox 360 was finished in 2006 (before Halo 3 came out)

or like saying a nintendo console is finished before its mario comes out

Forza 3 will steal some buyers from GT5. people cant wait forever sony.

Tease.

@squilliam

while I disagree with your views, I have to say the comment about assembly require did make me lol

well played

Yes I am a fan of the Playstation 3, but I am an even bigger fan of intelligent and rational dialog. (If you are up for an intelligent exchange of ideas, you are more than welcome to add me as a friend)

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future......NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

(haven't been playing much since I am broke)

It's not because of MGS, it's because of all those casual-appealing announcements. Well, that is, if they really work and can defeat even Wii. I doubt it can finish anything... But it sure could have a significant impact on sales.

The device will be $200. An Arcade can't conquer the Wii @ $400.
