Forums - Sony - Sony to concentrate on GT PSP at E3, no GT5 talk from Yamauchi

Those interviewing Polyphony Digital legend Kazanori Yamauchi at E3 tomorrow have been told not to ask questions about Gran Turismo 5, VG247 has learned.

Meaning? Well, presumably that the game du jour for the Sony car kids is going to be GT PSP only.

SCEA’s John Koller confirmed GT was on the way to PSP Go in the “leaked” Qore ep this weekend, and it now looks clear the focus will be on the handheld title as far as Gran Turismo’s concerned.

Oh god no

I want my GT5

Sony are really serious about PSP - new Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid from the MGS4 team, and Guitar Hero, all announced in the last couple of days...

Sony's John Koller did say they will concentrate on PSP at E3, with some huge announcements coming, so I'm not that surprised.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Yamauchi's focus right now is on GT Mobile.

Feh, all your money on a sinking unarmed ship...

Nice job Sony.

@Star Scream.

And remember, the rest of the big name games already announced for PSP.
PSPs E3 will be huge.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if that secret Capcom game is also for PSP, and we get a new GTA as well.

It wasn't so obvious in February when Koller first said it, but it's obvious now - Sony will concentrate on PSP at E3

I dont see how showcasing both games would be a bad idea at all. PS3 needs GT5 more than PSP needs GT mobile.

The article only says no 'GT5 talk from Yamauchi,' but it's possible they'll have a trailer or two.

sinking unarmed ship?
do you mean all 3 consoles in Japan?

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo
