I never said I would give up on the Wii. You guys aren't understanding what I say. Dodece got it totally right. I just feel like the Wii hasn't got many games in the past 6 months. I bought HotD, Deadly Creatures, MadWorld and Rune Factory, of those only Madworld and Rune Factory were worth it. The last 'awesome' game I played from NIntendo was Brawl over a year ago. Animal Crossing was nice, but does not compare to their bigger franchises.

I made this thread because I feel NIntendo's presence has been completely absent for over a year. I know they have released games throughout the year, but not one game that makes you say, "Wow, Nintendo is amazing." I want that this HOliday season. I know they will eventually bring the games, but they have let me down all of last year.

Hasn't Nintendo already put out more games on the wii now, faster than on any other console of theirs?

You can't claim Nintendo isn't doing its job. Blame the other developers. Nintendo can't threaten the 3rd party developers to do something good. Are they supposed to bankroll the entire development costs for these lazy bums, when Ninty has 50 million consoles out there? That's like winning a contest and then having to pay for you own prices.

I was pleased by E3 2008, so i probably will be pleased with 09, they just make the best games and consoles out there why would i give up on them?

I will give up on Nintendo if they stop making great games not if they show games at some conference that dont interest me.

You shouldnt put all your expectation eggs in one E3 basket.
