Serious question:

Is the new PSP Go a new handheld or a new model like the DSi for the DS? I really don't know. This is no trolling.

It's the answer to the Ipod Touch. And yes it's like the DSI.

Its a upgraded new handheld, as it cannot play old PSP games due to the lack of a UMD drive.

Its a digital distribution only PSP ( it drops the UMD drive for 16gb of internal flash memory).

So PSP / PSP Go will play the same games, only you will need to download them to play them on PSP Go instead of using UMD's.

It's an upgrade, not the PSP 2.

It´s a new handheld because you can´t play UMD based PSP games.

But basicly all games that will come out on UMDs will be playable on it. And probably the entire UMD librarys will go up on the PSstore sooner or later... so yeah, just and upgrade ;)

I'd love it if Sony implemented a way to get your UMD based games as downloads for the PSP Go. I have a PSP 2000 and would glady trade it for a PSP Go if that happened.

BUT THATS THE POINT... you WILL BE ABLE to download UMD games from the PSstore... you are already able to do that for the 1-2-3k models to ;) Of course you wont have a refund for your UMD games if thats what your asking for :P

The PSP GO will play the exact same games that the current models do, just that you wont buy it on a UMD you will download it dirrectly to your handhelds memmory ;)

I'm not asking for a refund per se, since I already own the game. Just the possibility of trading it in for a download voucher of the exact same game, for example.
