Forums - Sony - Trico, PS3 Slim and now the PSP Go. What is Sony playing at?

Okay here's the facts

About 500,000 - 750,000 people care about Trico

About 10,000,000 people care about Gran Turismo 5

I really hate how people act like trico is a big deal. While ICO and SoTC got great reviews they were commercial failures both failing to sell 1 million units on the amazing PS2.

But "winning" E3 isn't about showing the thing that the most people will buy, otherwise Nintendo had a fantastic run last year.  It's about showing what makes the gamers watching happy, and Trico will make alot of the Sony fans who care enough to watch E3 very happy.

PSP2 Announced. Remote Play will allow you to play any PS3 game through WiFi connection.

Lol, I guess one can hope for the wildest of things.  No harm in that.

I honestly don't see what in the world they can still have to announce.  Almost all of their big 2009/2010 games have already been announced or teased, the PS3 Slim has leaked, the PSP Go has been announced....  I'm sorry I just don't see anything big left for them at all....

I'm sure they will have something though, it just seems like of the 3 companies they now have the least surprises left....

What?  Maybe their big games up until Spring 2010 have been announced (except for maybe Trico - who knows when that'll come out).

They'll show a couple more games for their 2010 line up at E3 (much like MAG last year), with maybe a title for early 2011 (much like GoWIII last year).  Then they'll show the rest of their 2010 line up at the beginning of 2010 (like Resistance 3).

I might actually buy a PS3 finally if there's a price drop as well as a PS3 slim, which would be cheaper anyway.

And you are totally off topic. This thread is about Sony and how they are giving out alot of info before their conference.

Anyway, Torillian pretty much answered your question

Dude, Shadow broke 1.5 million.  :P

Also, what Torillian said.  ^^

All these announcements are more a symptom of a REALLY leaky ship... what makes you think there is more to give?

unless there are some secrets to the PSP Go which have not been officially announced yet, new games and a PS3 slim (which is so massively speculated it will be more a disappointment if it is not released) then i'm not sure if there is anything more to give.

The question should be: Has Sony's E3 conference been sunk by a series of high profile leaks?

As another user highlighted to me, this is probably just advertising on Sony's behalf. Due to their 'intentional' leaks, we are here a couple of days before the conferences and the whole Net is talking about Sony. Yes, the element of surprise is probably mostly gone from Sony's conference, but do they really care?

They should have enough awesome stuff to show off anyway, even though we are expecting it. I mean Im expecting a God of War 3 video, but when I see it I'm still gona be like 'Wow'

Thats even easir

Don't say : "Thats pathetic...the old sold snake would NEVER trust his life with a weapon"

That gets rid of the Cyborg, now you need two pirates to kill the Ninja (a ninja can beat a lone pirate).

Perhaps they don't care about E3 anymore and use the entire year as their stage instead of a single day in June...
