PS2 was actually pretty small. PS3 is like, the largest console ever made.
And pspgo sounds awesome. Even moreso than not having UMDs si the fact that you won't have to eject a game or even carry the games around with you. (I actually like psn games a lot because I'm too lazy to get up and change discs sometimes.)

Besides that, the new PSP ends up being a lateral move for the PSP with pluses and minuses. By doing this like, however, now people want to see the next Gran Turismo and Metal Gear on the PSP. Getting hyped about these new games (also others I may of missed) really should get Sony fans pumped.

Sony, I'm almost positive, will have some sort of way to transfer your UMD games to your Go. IMO, that's an easy enough transition. Secondly, it just seems like so much more of a true on-the-go device. No games to carry around; light and small; etc. That's what really makes it appealing, at least in my eyes. And the Slim simply reduces the costs of the PS3, making it more likely that they will cut the prices. Cutting the prices will increase sales and market share, making it more likely for devs to bring great games to the PS3.

I really hate how people act like trico is a big deal. While ICO and SoTC got great reviews they were commercial failures both failing to sell 1 million units on the amazing PS2.

I mean, its pretty much the only other announcement (besides price cut) that could overshadow what they've released so far.
In the Qore episode Veronica is interviewing the guy and is speaking in past tense regarding the E3 event..... Go watch it again. Also, YouTube removed the Qore episodes that had been posted by some members. I think this leak was a huge accident and Qore accidentally revealed what would have been Sony's biggest announcement at E3.
