Maybe this will give you an idea why. few of my friends who have 360's and seen my KZ2 are like i am getting that game. The me says o so you got a PS3 now they like no. then i say this game is only on the PS3 then laugh because i find it funny that some people are so misinformed. Then they are like no all the good shooting games are on the 360. So this may not represent everyone who is bashing the tiny faults of this game but i think it is bitter 360 fans who have been spoilt by having all the best shooters this gen. I mean come on tell me this when splinter cell comes out you telling me some of the only PS3 owners with MGS4 aint going to burn with a little bit of jealousy. The same the 360 only owners will burn when Syphon filter comes out because of SC and SP having a lot in common. Look at the Wii owners with LBP.

Never played Gears 2, but I will get it when it comes to the PC.

Right now, Killzone 2 is the best FPS this gen in my humble opinion.

i'll re-assess that once i play Gears 2. Although I'm not usually a TPS fan, i've heard it's awesome, so i'm looking forward to playing it, but it has some serious competition in Killzone 2 which is pushing all my buttons at the moment.

Yes, but Uncharted also has you shooting a gun in the 3rd person a whole hell of a lot too. There are other elements to the gameplay that make the game great, but one of its core features as a game is its a 3rd person shooting game. The only game close enough to Gears 2 is Killswitch...sorry.

From what I've seen of the game, Uncharted does everything Gears does, except for the exploding headshots, but adds incredible platforming elements.  Uncharted 2 seems like a mix of Gears 2 & Assassin's Creed.  Killswitch had cover, that's the only similarity I see between the two.  That's like saying Wanted comes close to Gears 2, and we both know that's not true. 

PS: Is debating like this better than becoming furious and ignoring you?  By the way, I only get furious when I see fanboys(on anyside), though I end up having to defend the PS3 more than the 360.  It just gets attacked way too much!!

Gears 2 isn't coming to PC.

Uncharted does not feel like a war; Gears 2 does. Gears makes you feel like you're in the middle of an extremely bloody battle and you're on the frontlines. Uncharted is fun and doesnt really freak me out like gears on the hardest difficulty. Uncharted is closer to Tomb Raider than Gears and Gears is closer to Killswitch than Uncharted.

i have gears 2 its a great game but multiplayer is naff its just to damn slow, single player also is very slow. if ur talking which best gives u an immersion of war its killzone. both are great games but killzone is better. story there about the same but overall fun single player and multiplayer killzone is the best, playing 32players on phyrus is just plain awesome.

If you are talking about the atmosphere/feel of the games then, yes, I agree with your reasoning.

How is that not a bloody frontline battle!? Uncharted 2 is like Gears 2 on steroids. Third person shooter with acrobatics and some of the best graphics of the generation.

Glad you bought the game, it really deserves some more sales.

I hope you enjoy playing KZ2 in the future as well as Gears 2!
