Forums - Gaming - What Tom Clancy game is Alex Jone talking about in his Watchmen review?

A few seconds after the 9:20 point of this video, Alex Jones begins to discuss a Tom Clancy videogame from 2002 in which the US where in 2008 the US, Israel, and Nato launch a sneak attack on Russia in 2008.  The sequel to this game is supposed to be released soon.  Is he referring to Splinter Cell or some other game?

Well the only game I can think abut is SC... :| But I think he got the story wrong :| And I cant remember the story from the first Ghost Recon :| I only played it a couple of minutes ( not my game ).

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

I forgot the story in the original SC =/

I thought it was Georgia invading another country/area, using information warfare to keep the world from interfering. I loved how CT went back to the 1st plot by using the same alogrithms from the Canadian hacker in 1.

Does anyone know when Watchmen is coming to dvd?

Alex Jones play fast and loose with facts.  He said Tom Clancy wrote about flying airplanes into the WTC.  Well, it was the Capitol building.  The person doing it was Japanese in his book.

It does sound like he is bringing in Modern Warfare here, and thinks it is Tom Clancy.

In the second part of the interview, The Lone Gunman episode clip, they are planning to fly an airplane into the World Trade Center.

I saw that.  That is creepy.  In regards to videogames, he is off, playing fast and loose.  He has done this in the past with other areas.  He sees conspiracies in WAY too many areas.  Anyhow, it is how he makes his money, so won't speak too much about it.
