i will enjoy it when apple buys acti-bliz, take2 and Ea all at once and in cash with hostile take-overs*, and makes all games esclusive to the XXXXXXX Ive designed will blow minds...... and apple will own another market.... sony will be reduced to peddling tamagachies, nintendo will have to go back to making playing cards (apple will send fake steve jobs over there and somehow convince them not to make anymore games ) and MS will go back to making windows... what ever that is

lol not gonna happen. Apple is too focused on their bottom line and would never invest this kind of money. Even if they did they would pull a 3DO and charge WAY to much for the system and have VERY few first party games. Apple console = FAIL

The article touches lightly on a thought I had a while ago - What if consoles were more openly mod-friendly. In other words, instead of buying a new box, make it easy to swap out the GPU and put a better one in as tech gets better, upgrade the ram easily, swap out cpus quickly. Make it a mod box that keeps the parts under control by the console designer, allowing for compatibility among games, just played at different quality settings, basically an easy access micro pc
