Too late, especially now that WoW has grabbed such a huge pie of the market. And like someone said it is newbie unfriendly, and finding groups is a bitch. Plus with the game being dominated by Japanese players, it may be daunting and twice as hard for an English speaking player.

Only thing true in this post is wow being popular everything esle is wrong. Japs are on a different timezone then us and its hard to find a jap player really. and they have a translater also.

I know I sound uptight but please don't use Jap. Although SE provided basic commands you can't fubction as a team and truly interact with people (the true fun of a MMO) with only short phrases. I also used to play at night. As I said I never presented my personal experience a the experience everyone will have. So please calm down and not say I'm wrong. I'm sure I know what I experienced better than you.

I've never had a problem communicating with Japanese players, the auto-translate feature is quite excellent.  The people that usually have trouble finding parties, especially Japanese ones, are usually jackasses or DRG's and have a problem finding parties anyways.

Again I'm only talking about my personal experiences, and I'm not a jackass and didn't play as a DRG.

My friend has put 4 years of his life into that game. He is a GM. I tell him every day to do something better with his life but he doesn't listen. The ps2 version works on the older ps3's but that is not possible with the newer ones, so they are porting it over.

I could have swore I read that the game works on no PS3's.

Yea it works, but you have to download some ps2 system info patch off psn first.

On the 60gb and the 20gb I know for a fact it works (you have to download the patch from psn to utilize the hard drive requirement).  I still have my ps2 copy and it worked like a charm on my launch 60gb ps3, now will I pick up the newer version of the same game.......HellZ NO!

Did you use the auto-translator and actually use it correctly?

Note, by correctly I don't mean those people that make it function and make terribly annoying Provoke macro's that they spam every 5 seconds that sound funny by piecing together random words that would make no sense in Japanese.

Also, I'm not trying to call you jackass (though now that I look at it, whoops >_>), I'm just saying the people that usually have problems finding a party are jackasses or yell random stuff that Japanese players usually find rude or don't make sense or some job that people just don't want.

And that's interesting about it already working on the PS3, did that patch come out some time after the PS3 released?

SE makes sick...I wish the industry would stop caring about them...

Why? i like their games, and everyone makes mistakes , if anything it should be EA, they dont polish their games and they release them like unfinished cakes

we'll still have to pay to play it tho rite?? =(

Its SE of course you have to pay.  But still if you play it on 360/pc/ps2 and you decide to get the ps3 version you just transfer your content ID over and all your account details should just transfer effortlessly.

Plus you will be playing alongside  360/PC and ps2 players

Yea but i think there a bit cheaper then most MMO's. I personally never liked this one and i probably wouldn't play if it was free.

I believe it happened within the first 6 months.  I believe that it was also to support any game that used the hard drive on the ps2 (resident evil outbreak 1 and 2, the 2k series, socom, etc)

THAT would be cool. but i want to have kinda graphical update.

I doubt it.. it will just run at a higher res like the 360 version.

It doesn't need much a graphical update because the game doesn't look bad. It's far from the best looking game out there but not like it's ugly.
