duracell batteries.
do the Nyko charge station set work well?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least in my time using them

How did it not work well.  Works perfectly for me.  Just put the Wiimotes back in the charge station after done playing and you never run out of charge.

I also had issues with the nyko chargestation. The smaller battery terminal kept needing to be bent back out (that is exactly what the Nyko customer rep on the phone told me to do) in order for it to make contact. Every month or so I had to manually fix the stupid thing that it became too much of a nusance to fix.

So, I just buy cheap rayovac or ?? batteries.

My buddy had the same issue with his system. We both bought them when it first released. So maybe they fixed the design since then. idk.

Rechargable batteries, last more or less one week.

Castlevania Judgment FC:     1161 - 3389 - 1512

Chargestation (European brand, not available in US). Works fine.

I use the Nyko Chargestation and I absolutely love it. I have no issues at all, battery life is great and I love the extra grip that comes with it. It also feels a bit more solid than the original cheap plastic covers.

I forgot the brand, but I have rechargeable batteries that charge in about 15-20 minutes, and they last a damn long time. I couldn't be happier.

With rechargables, the time it takes to charge depends on their size (so my 2100mAh take about 3 hours in my charger, but I have some 800mAh that take about an hour)

The higher the mAh the longer the batteries last in the remote.

Also however, the time to charge will depend on your charger.... my charger came with the batteries, so it was cheap, which is why it takes so long. You clearly have a fast charger.

Yeah, and it makes a lot of noise when it's on. =P

It was only about 10 bucks more than the other chargers, and it had a label that said charges in 15 minutes.... and sure enough, it does just that. Kinda hard to believe... but it's been working since 06!

I use a similar battery.  I think they are called Enelope (sp?) batteries, I got mine from a Costco in Canada.  I cycle through them and they seem to work fantastic (I don't really time how much play time I get out of them).

I believe eneloop are Panasonics?.... and I think they use similar tech to the Uniross hybrios I have.... which means after you charge you can leave them and them they keep their charge for a lot longer. I have left mine after charging over a month on a couple of occasions and they still showed 4 lights on the Remote.

I use rechargeable batteries. I think they are Energizer.
