Update: Our contact at Rockstar said that the reasons for the delay will be announced during Take-Two’s earnings call which takes place any minute now. We will be sure to listen for you.

Update 2: The games have ben delayed to allow for more development time, it’s just been confirmed in the company’s earnings call.

Looks like Red Dead Redemption and Mafia II have both been delayed into “first half of fiscal year 2010″.

I was as well, but it might benefit its sales from this delay. Somehow i could see these titles getting lost in the shuffle of all the games releasing over the holidays.

Ohhh, I was really looking forward to RDR. Well, I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

Heavy rain has not been confirmed of a delay as of yet. I would wait for E3 for more info, before believing Geoff Keighley. I take everything he does now with a grain of salt after his big "megaton" speel at GDC when they showed a teaser trailer for MWII.
