I love Tactic Ogre: Knight of Lodis. I liked it a little more than the orginal and for me to say that that Jean D'arc rivals it, thats a pretty big compliment.

I also agree with guy above ..... it is wishful thinking.
there is no way a japanese co. will invest so much into western co. 360 is doing horrible in their home, japan, period. They're not investing in a co. which can't sell in japan. as far as new consoles ..... wii has the most solid user base. though 360 having 2 mill more in usa, the wii is the better choice. Its sells well worldwide. I would say support ps3 then pc and wii 2nd.
but to be fair
ps3: popular franchises
360: new genre games(like bushido blade) and cross platform games
wii: kingdom hearts, mario rpg 2, and other updated ps2 ports
ds/psp: all remakes and tactic games

PS3: Because the huge inversion before the console launch
360: Really dont know...
Wii: They dont see it coming...
DS/ PSP: They need money... right now.
| Dodece said: Obviously Square needs to expand into other markets as a direct result of the domination of their home market by Nintendo, and the poor universal performance of the PS3. That means like it or not Square is probably going to be doing more business on Microsofts console. You cannot be serious about the North American hardcore market without getting serious about the 360. To be honest that is what Square really needs. The casual market is not the market that is going to snap up their games. They need those hardcore gamers that buy many more games annually. This is only bad news for Sony. There is nothing good about this for them. Square is making these statements, because they intend to replace Sony. Up until now Sony functioned as their publisher. They handled everything, and to an extent Square was dependent on them. Which was not a problem up until this point. Sony was doing well by them. We saw the press conference they were happy to be up on stage with Microsoft, and even if they decide on a neutral party in North America the future seems pretty certain. Sony is going to get the shaft hard and cold. Give if a few more months before they announce FFXIII for the 360. This might be the first step. Curious to see how Sony responds. They can ill afford to lose a single exclusive SE title. Now if they manage to lose this one, That will leave only two GT, and MGS4. Now if Square bolts on Sony. How far off will Konami be. This is what I mean about the PS3 dieing this holiday season. Sony really is running out of time. The machine might not die, but the support could totally dry up on them. |
Hmhmhmhm.
This is all old news to me. Exactly how I saw it one year ago last September 22nd.
