An exception to the rule does not negate the rule in its entirety. The simple fact is that looking at the history of a development team can almost always tell you the quality of games they will make in the future unless a large change happens, and I don't think changing the publisher for their next game is a big enough change to count on a major difference from their previous titles.
The issues Tri Ace usually runs into are dungeon design, pacing of the story, and voice acting. Since we have seen no evidence that any of these are beyond the norm for them, I will assume they are until proven otherwise. I can't think of any other logical response.
