here is where all this data came from, they are a legit research firm used frequently by fortune 500s , im a bit surprised honestly and have not finnished reading all of their methodology but as far as i have read no bull shit

these do seem based on american sales only    world  sales but , which seem to be end of year 08 .

Ok, so a platform with over 120M owners that is still selling (PS2) is worth less than a console that is dead that has less than 30M owners (Xbox).

Am I missing something?

could you read the pdf i linked to it for reasoning behind the research or are you just going to complain? really? its not there stuff they are reposting out of a document for an established company that does brand value for other markets, though this seems to be the first year they have done the gaming market
