Popcap Games demos are EXACTLY 1 hour long. So that proves you wrong on that point. Dawn of War II was more than an hour, Zeno Clash was around 50 minutes (for me), Defense Grid demo was also more than an hour (though I didn't finish it). Those are the four latest demos I've played. Don't say no demo is ever an hour long. That's just silly.

And you just proved my point with the bolded statement. That's exactly what I'm saying.

2 hours into any game I can usually tell if I'm going to like it or not. The quality of Oblivion is readily apparent in those first two hours, so is the quality of Call of Duty 4. Neither of those games suddenly jump from being bad to being good after that point.

I would say he reviewed and scored the first two hours of gameplay (though it wasn't actually a review). Which is a fair thing to do. It's CLEARLY STATED it's not a review of the complete game. The post starts: That's what he's doing, and you're complaining that he has no right to do that because you don't fully appreciate a game after more than 5-10 hours. But that is your opinion, and not a fact. The fact is he wasn't blown away by the first two hours, and you feel somehow offended that he wasn't.

And I'm pretty sure he was playing the demo. If so, you really shouldn't do a review off of a demo, mainly because most demos of awesome games usually suck (Valkria Chronicles) and most demos are usually 10-15 minutes. I'd rather listen to someone who played the game for more than 10 hours than listen to someone who probably played the demo for only 2 BTW, I love how in your 2nd paragraph you say we are all devoted to Sony and inFAMOUS is over-hyped because it's a PS3 exclusive     Yeah, you do realize this is a Sony thread, right? I'd say the same thing for Nintendo/Microsoft if this was some Wii or 360 exclusive. I hate fanboyism, I hate hyping, and I hate blind retaliatory anger, all of which were on prominent display in this thread. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt; why would he lie? If he is, whatever; no reason to explode with anger. He didn't make any claims that were all that incendiary. Look: not everone's gonna love every great game. Maybe it's too hyped, maybe it's not, but some people aren't going to give a damn about inFamous. Even he's lying, why should you all care so much? It's just one persons (potentially fabricated) opinions; they mean nothing.

I'll explain this one more time, it's not that he gave the game a 7.8/10, it's because he claimed to have rented the game (and it's not out yet BTW), and played for two hours before writing his OP. Let me make this clear

-The game is not out yet

-He was probably playing the demo but doing a review off of a demo is just stupid

-Would you listen to someone who played the game for more than 10 hours or to someone who only played it for 2?

Why did he lie about  renting the game is beyond me, what was the point of this? You play the demo, you didnt like , big deal. I almost feel like reporting him.

I think we should all read the OP again, it's been edited to explain why he has a copy of the full retail version (whether you'd like to believe it or not).

Plus, it's his opinion. One thing I dislike about these forums (one of the few things) is that you get shut down for having a negative opinion about a big name release. It's an opinion, if you don't share it, fine, say so. No need to discredit somebody or attempt to.

Also, given his post history, I don't think he's the kind of person to make something up just for the sake of it. Yes he may or may not be a fanboy, but I don't see him as the kind of person to lie about playing a game.

I personally cannot wait for this game (June 4th down here).

being the black sheeep ps3 owner that kylie is i would expect kylie to stick up for the OP.... considering kylie has been in situations whdre he has been attacked for not having yhe same opinion as the majority of ps3 fans of this site.

I have the game and of course you get trophies for it almost immediately. The fact that this dude would lie about renting this game is pretty disturbing to me. The lengths people will go through these days.
