It's confirm LP2 will be at E3, just not that it's on PS3.

This is the SONY list.

Yeah carl...but that does not make it true....

Yeaaaah, i know that. Hence the "?" in the title.

Zizzla.. I say secrecy because, as far as I know Capcom hasn´t given a clear answer as to whether or not LP2 will be released on the PS3, it´s like they want to leave people in the dark for now....I just don´t understand why, it seems so unecessary..

IGN has it down for PS360 as well.

I thin LP2 might a timed exclusive or something. I mean they announced this on Xbox Live, so it will be exclusive in a way i guess. (timed exclusive, exclusive DLC or whatever)

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I would not doubt Capcom is doing it on Purpose to keep PS3 Gamers Cough*Fanboys* Cough on the edge of their seats.....Also keep in mind that Lost Planet was only a big hit on 360....Assuming it did not sell well on PC....

Why all this unecessary secrecy and confusion coming from Capcom when it comes to this game?

It's only a minority of the PS3 fanbase that are confused, the message from Capcom from the beginning has been quite clear that it's in development for 360.  If the PS3 version gets made then it's likely to be delayed and hence a timed 360 exclsuive for a little while.  Quoting rumoured games lists off random sites isn't in the slightest bit confirmed to answer the OP.

I think the reason Capcom keeps everyone in the dark on a PS3 version, is they're holding out for a Huge Check from MS for exclusivity. Or MS has told them they're interested, but they still may be making a PS3 version on the side in case M$ doesn't bite, their engine is multi-platform. Microsoft may be waiting to see what they're up against next year. MS may be waiting to see progress on the game to make sure it's not a flop to get a better deal.

It's sad what's happened to the game industry this generation. If a company says a game is exclusive it should be illegal to not tell when the game will be eligible to be ported(as stated in contract); it's like we're being lied to (for money).

I played the multiplayer demo of Extreme Condition, and thought it was awful.

As for the source, these are the people that gave us the Project Trico trailer (and thus my avatar), which was all but confirmed to be genuine, so I would call them reliable.
