Anyways, I agree that it is stupid to have it in two different areas. When you select the trophies icon it should fly out both your games (and % complete) along with your overalls off to the side so you can always see it.

I think its in the best place, Its in my opinion that trophies and your PSN ID card are related. How would you view other people's trophies if it wasnt the current way? And that dosen't surprise me about City

Yeah, my friends list is about the one spot I didn't look for my total trophies because I thought surely they wouldn't put it there. -_-

there is nothing from stopping sony from including your own personal trophy data on one page, and having the friend trophy data where it currently is.

I admit, having to be online just to view your trophycard is very annoying.

Update your PSN trophies (which is still manual for some reason- do what you just figured out how to do).
Then log on with your PSN details (you don't have to be in Europe), and you can see your PSN level and trophies from the comfort of Firefox!
And you can get a trophycard, and maybe people will stop calling you a Sony hater
