Lets just for sake of simplicity say the hit box is a perfect box shape, as thick as your player, as tall as your player and as wide as your player.
If you jump a meter in the air the box won't shift a meter upwards perfectly, it usually ends up folding in on itself becomming smaller or the box seperating from the visual player partly. Distance affects this also.
In BFBC for instance ducking the strafe walking moved your heads hitbox to somewhere around your ass, and quite often bullets would pass through the body doing no damage. That was some serious hit box issues. Bunny hopping causes them also. |
You know what I've never noticed that, usually I'm trying to melt a cap in someones ass, while trying not to get one melt on mine...I have to pay attention too that next time...
@Chrizum: There was one two weeks ago, it was pretty good, lag-free, and fast. Last about an hour, I'm down if someone wants to do another one this Sunday @ 6 PT/9ET again...
I admit with the time zones that everyone on VGZ is in it's just hard to catch people online randomly alone to join in...(I'll added you when I get home tonight btw)
sidenote: OFF Topic, anyone see where NHL 2K10 will have online, WII SPEAK @ WM+ support? If you haven't gotten Wiispeak for The Conduit yet (Will be getting very soon) got to at least get it for this game...
