I own all of lastgen systems as of October 2008. (Finally got a Dreamcast)

And yes Nintendo Power Apparently gets the earlier builds of games and reviews those, at least that's what happens with Okami, they reviewed it rather poorly before the game was even finished.

I can't make any decision unless I see the written review. Someone stated they saw it but I am still a bit skeptical.

The Good

-unprecedented level of customization

-level design is good

-the reviewer got booted from the lobby a few times during online play, but overall the experience was smooth

-weapon selection is good

-level of detail inconsistent, but overall, some of the best texture work on Wii

-sequel strongly hinted...

The Bad

-...at through abrupt ending

-doesn’t measure up to Halo; Half-Life
-story is predictable
-enemy AI “fails to impress”

-little innovation aside from controls
-ASE underutilized

Those are the ones I found easy also to add in a wtf they gave Okami a 75

A single number isn't very revealing. Also, given the last Conduit review from "Nintendo Power," I think I'll wait for confirmation for this one. Convincing RMC might just mean it's a better fake.

I'm not worried, I'll be playing this game, wether it scores a 1/10 or not, just to show support to HVS.

Since I never played Halo, I can't comment on it. However, I did play through HL. That's such a high standard to measure against and I don't think a lot of games would measure up to HL.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
