Same as any other game...   to make $ selling it

People are trying to compare this to CTYD, but these are two totally different types of games. Dead Rising's gameplay hinged on the fact that there were TONS of zombies on screen in alot of areas. This is what made the franchise. RE on the other hand, should have few zombies, little ammo and alot of horror. RE5 kinda got away from this (more than 4 did, but 4 was still very good imo).

To have a good RE 5 capcom can take out zombies and this will make it as good, if not better than the original. With motion controls this will be a very good idea. This would be RE5 the way many RE fans wanted it. Remember how pissed alot got when they  thought it had too much ammo and was just turning into another shooter? I remember alot of comments like that. Its a win if they put any effort into it.

DCG, why would no one care. Remind me how many copies of 4 sold when it came on the wii even though it was released earlier? Do you guys even think when you type this shit? Or did you just ignore the RE4 Wii sales and try to shoehorn your pro HD stance on it and hope no one noticed?

Why should they do us any favors now? They didn't want to give it to Wii owners before, and now that they realize that it would have sold much more with the Wii release included, they *might* want to give it to us. I'm sick of lame-ass Capcom ports coming to Wii!

Hmmm, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is the best RE4 version they ever released, and Okami is well done (even though it's missing "teh part"). Dead Rising: CTYD is not really a port... and it seriously doesn't look that bad. I just wouldn't pay more than 30$ for it.

I say they release it. It means more games for the Wii! Why would anyone not want that? o_O

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Well, at least it's an acknowledgment that RE5/Wii is technologically possible. I wasn't expecting them to admit that the Wii can do everything its HD cousins can do except the graphics.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

I don't want RE5 on the Wii.

I want a story explaining what Jill was doing during the sidelines of RE5.

I already own RE5, I don't need a port. An RE 4.5 is good for me. A Wii edition is way too late.

So that's a no then...

Yeeeah, you have to make a new RE, Capcom. I already have RE5 and I don't like this game, because this game don't have the essence of the series. Is a GREEEAT game, but it is not RE for me.

A remix, with multiple saves, better inventory, and a Separate Ways with Jill, would kick ass.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Yes RE4 for the Wii is the best version, but simply because of the controls. Capcom didn't do anything else to improve upon a game that had already been released one three different platforms in the last generation. The same can be said about Okami. It is a good game (I guess. I've never actually played it), but it was already released on the PS2. CTYD doesn't actually look too terrible, but I doubt you'll find anyone that says it's superior to the 360 original. Capcom just wants to make more money and they relaize that with almost a 50% market share, that Wii is the system to target for that quick extra buck.
