another true story...got a girlfriend that never played games and now she joined the videogame wagon and she's my best gaming partner.

OT: If its just console gamings that got you hooked then why dont you sell all of your gaming collection etc?  But dont like trade it in for credit.  Go somewhere that you can trade for cash, or ebay it.  If its PC then...you cant sell that cause if you dont have a girlfriend you might need your PC for p*rn lol.

But yea find another hobby?  Try gambling at casino?  If you're going to waste your money on games that you want to stop playing then might as well invest in a chance to make more money lol

i play about 5-6 hours per day maybe a little more, and then i help with my dads business which is right down stairs, i then work about 4-5 hours or less, then i usually go to bed or play some more usually play more, i guess if i had a real job like walmart i could be more busy with work and people, my cuz he works too but a major player. he works and play games thats it. haha some life i got huh? lol

Get a job.

I'm sure he doesn't buy his game with imaginary money (oh wait... Americans have been doing that with credit cards... nvm)

Well, I have a 360, Wii, DS, PSP, PS2 and a lot of games. I don't have a job, so, I bought with imaginary money?

- Get Netflix for your 360, you'll stop playing games.

- RROD your 360. If you can't stay away from it, kill it.

- Live on VG Chartz... I know alot of you out there do this. Why play games, when you can talk about them? or fight a fanboy.

- Download some kiddy porn. That should get you thrown in jail and keep you away from your 360... and maybe you'll find some companionship there for free. That should solve your other problem with getting relationships. Kill two birds with one stone. ~_n

Find a new hobby? 2000 piece puzzles should do the trick.

lolz!!

If you want to quit cold turkey follow these easy steps.

#1. Dispose of your gaming consoles.
#2. Dispose of your games.
#3. Enjoy life without video games.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

waw 5 to 6 hours a day wish I could play like you but my parents limit me to play on Thursday, I play 10-12 hours on Thursday but in the summer I will try to limit my playing time to 6 hours a day.

The real problem is... games these days are too long. Back in the day, you had games that you could beat in an hour or two. Games like Sonic and Mario. Once you beat the game, you feel accomplished and can do other things. I used to play Streets of Rage once a day and beat it before I did my homework. When Streets of Rage 2 came out, I did the same thing. It never got boring. You knew every secret and it was like clockwork. Hardley required any thinking.
