Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Kizuna (Wii) scores 5/4/4/4 in the latest issue of Famitsu

Damn, that's low. I thought the game looked good. Famitsu (and most reviewers) don't use the very low scores for nothing. If the game wasn't "hyped" but was still decent it would have gotten 6/6/7/7 or so. This score makes me think that there's lots of things broken within the game

Great score for KH358/2, and great for Yuusha 30 too (8/9/8/8)

Imagine the shittiest version of Dynasty Warriors possible and top it off with shitty boss fights that all play exactly the same. Then you have the stiff controls and low-grade PS2 graphics (That filter is mainly just some cheap effect placed over the screen rather than something cool like what you saw in say, Stretch Panic) complete with garbage animation.

Good post alfred.  That's a painful description if accurate.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

Well, on the bright side, I didn't bother reading your last thread.

Who cares ... was this game supposed to be good? It looked quite low budget from the get go.

Excitebots, Klonoa, Boom Blox Party, and now Punch-Out! (Little King Story if you're in PAL land) ... there are plenty of great Wii games coming out right now, get one or two of those.

Yea well that's what happen when you hype a game after you only saw very few screenshot.

At least wait when a game has decent gameplay videos people...

Famitsu sucks when it comes to reviews. Not me trying to defend the game (because I literally care about this game less than I do about what the whores on Gossip Girl are up to) just my general opinion regarding the magazine.

Doesn't Famitsu make scores based on hype? So it must not be that hyped.

It'll add points to hyped games, but it won't deduct them.
