Does anyone have any idea what the rewards are going to be? I only need 80 more points before June 30th for Platinum status, so I was thinking of making the push for it.

no clue. Nintendo just sent an e-mail out today warning everyone that their status would reset and that they wouldn't lose their coins. They also said we should recieve a prize before the end of the year. In Japan you got to choose your prize, but I don't think Nintendo of America is that cool.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Yeah, I saw that email.

I was just thinking that I could make Platinum pretty easy. I could pick up Super Paper Mario and New Super Mario Bros and be at Platinum.

One Japanese member (I can see the avatar in my mind, but can't remember the name) on this website got a Gold Wii Wheel with a paper stand for Platinum membership.

That would be pretty cool in my opinion

Can't you convert them to Wii points over there? I thought they introduced it.

If so then you can get points towards Wiiware/VC games.

You probably don't want to register anything else until after June 1 so that you can save those for achieving gold or platinum next year.
