It should be around 8.5GB of data on a dual layer DVD and 4.7GB on a single, though I could be wrong. It's just what I've read from past interviews about the systems. And considering that both Modern Warfare 1 and World at War are on the 360 using, most likely, a dual layer DVD, I'm pretty confident in saying that it's possible to do that on the Wii.  

How are you so sure? I'd say I have history on my side, if Modern Warfare 1 wouldn't touch the wii with a ten foot pole, what makes people think that Modern Warfare 2 will go on the wii?

Anyways if we can't bet for bans we could do avatar/sig control?

Am I the only one who doesn't like this "if done right" following for 3rd party games on the Wii? That's why most 3rd parties put their games on the HD consoles. Because they can just put them on there, they don't have to "do them right" if their formula works. With the Wii, you have to make the game for the system, and then incorporate the controls and "do them right"...and that extra step is probably why all the games that Wii owners want on their system, won't be on the system. That's why you never turn your back on a classic controller aka gamepad

We do still have avatar bets, but if viper already stated he has the unfair advantage then why keep on... as for your logic, the Modern Warefare engine is on the Wii the same engine they're using for Modern Warefare 2 they're just doing more optimization and making it look more pretty then before, IW was working on the engine to put modern warfare on the Wii but they didn't have the time because it wasn't ready in time, they didn't want to deliver a sub-par game, they finished up the engine and Treyarch used it for W@W, so if they put the effort into making the Modern Warfare engine on Wii why wouldn't they use it for their latest game?

Well, I'll start with the logical reasons.

1. CoD: MW was not on Wii because the MW game engine was not developed in time for publishing.  Why people believe Infinity Ward just hates Wii is beyond me but it's also 100% false.  Just ask them.  IW could either have used the CoD 3 game engine (which would require massive overhauling of the game itself) or delay the game for several months.   Both were bad options so MW never made it to Wii.

2. The CoD: MW engine was ported to Wii to be used for CoD games.  Why develop an engine for CoD games and not use it much?  That's very wasteful.  Would just seem odd to have Infinity Ward port their engine to the Wii and never use it, don't you think?

3. Every CoD game on Wii has sold over 1 million units.  CoD 3 even outsold the PS3 version.   Why on Earth would a publisher ignore that kind of sales potential?

Now the definitive reason.

1. Because I'm in the media and have spoken with IW and Activision. 

I told you I'm not taking the bet with you because it's not fair.  If we were both guessing, then it would be fair but one of us isn't guessing.

Do you think Activision will announce MW2 on Wii on the 24th?

That is nice. Did they give you any information on the game? Well any that you won't be held responsible  for, if released to the public.

That I don't know but it would seem logical since it's THE big day for the game.  To me it would make sense but I don't have any knowledge regarding it specifically.

Nothing beyond what is already public knowledge or obvious.  I didn't ask for any details yet since those are coming anyway.

The 24th is when they shyow off the first major trailer we already know what systems it is being made for PS3/360. Gametrailers TV will have a sneek peek at it on Thursdays show also.

I'd rather have a Call of Duty unique to the Wii format istead of them trying to make a port.
