@thesource: That's alot for DQ IX. That's outselling the current best selling DQ game with about 500k!

Thats 10.75m. Can't imagine what else they have to make up that 2.25m though.

 

Add ~250k-300 for the PS3 versions of TLR and SO4 combined.

But you can expect the PC version to have made up much of the new shipment

600k-1.1m is too low for DQVI, as two previous remakes did 1.2m+

A. they ship before product goes on sale. (how do you expect stores to have a product to stock if they shipped that day. how do stores break street dates.) B. first shipment is always the biggest. C. it was released in europe. huge PC community.

The first shipment is always the largest for JRPGs. And this also means that the 360 version hasn't gotten hardly any, if any at all, new shipments.

Its only Japan Soriku...they expect to ship 13m games in Japan between April 1 2009 and March 31 2010.
