I was talking about not needing to breathe, not the flying part. Then again with the way the Hulk can jump, it's practically the equivalent of flying anyways. He can cross state lines in like two leaps. The Hulk has always been written as an ever evolving creature. He's gone through more changes than possibly any other character in comicdom.

I always saw Batman's major resourcefullness to be his genius combined with his vast fortune to execute it. Without the wealth part, I just don't see how he gets his hands on a gamma bomb. I suppose he could steal it though. Then again, isn't Batman currently dead anyways, making this a moot point?

Yeah, Maestro died to one.  There was another villain that was killed by one too but I don't remember his name.

Oh ok. How did we get into the space thing though? It's just that Hulk would fight across landscapes if he could. I don't see how he'd end up in empty space trying to fight...I'm assuming Goku since that was the original second question asked.

Batman is apparently dead right now. Darkseid killed him. They're at the end of a miniseries called Battle for the Cowl or something where someone is going to replace Bruce Wayne as Batman. Detective Comics is going to come back in May and star Batwoman. No I'm not kidding about any of this. I guess DC wanted to one up Marvel for killing Captain America.

Someone mentioned Goku vs Hulk.  The only way I can see Goku winning is by moving the battle into space.

I can't really comment too much on Goku, because I don't follow Dragonball Z. I'd expect Goku's ability to stand still thinking to himself and talking to his enemy for five minutes straight would give Hulk all the time he needed to pound Goku's face in. It's just the downfall of japanese animation that would be his undoing.

b/c once goku found out the hulk cant shoot energy beams he would stop (that honor thing) and once he found out the hulk cant fly just jump he would let himself fly any more

and that would leave them just punching the crap out of each other, but the hulk would eventual win that b/c he can take the better beating and get stronger from it faster

however this would go on until goku figured out that the hulk just needs a huge and a laugh and he is done for…Banner a gogo and Goko wins

not really there is no such thing as death in comics, only break is story

all they have to do is take another twist and look its two years before they killed him and a new story takes us away from that

I can see the battle starting with Goku in normal or super saiyan form underestimating the Hulk and then getting killed with one punch.

And yeah... I'd rather not think about a universe where Batman is dead.
