The PS2 had better games than the other systems because...well, self-explanatory really. It just had better games.

Well said! Sadly, some people don't even know about this. It's so easy to claim something when you don't even know the motives behind the decision in the first place.

 

And good score! They didn't complain much about the swinging mechanics, I guess they finally got the hang of it! ;)



Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

      Yeah, but certain games like Afro Samurai, X-Blades, Ninja Blade, Velvet Assassin, Onechanbara they have been getting much better reviews in the higher quality independent game press lately like Play Magazine than they have been getting at the more corporate sites like IGN as of late.  Velvet Assassin, for example, got an 8.5 at Play Magazine (http://playmagazine.com/?fuseaction=SiteMain.Content&contentid=1697), but only a 5.0 at IGN.

Seriously GTA is very popular, so its of course going to get high scores, and Fallout 3, well its from the same people who made Oblivion and Oblivion is Popular

I'm buying. Every time we made a list of games that needed a modern version, Bionic Commando was my pick. It's finally out, and it's supposed to be pretty good. It won't be a day one purchase, but it's definitely on my hit list.

Poorly written review. So vague and lacking excitement. It seems to me the guy didn't care much for the game at all. I could've written those two pages based on a few hints from someone who played a couple of hours of the game and without laying a finger on a controller.
