Although E3 2009 may be getting closer, many gaming companies aren't waiting that long to make announcements. Next week is going to be an extremely busy one filled with big game announcements and unveilings. You should expect the following gaming news to make headlines in the coming week.
New Kojima Productions Game
The developer of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is set to reveal their latest title on May 18th. Many speculate that it might have something to do with Metal Gear but you never know with sly legendary video game designer, Hideo Kojima.
Grandia Online Unveiling
The next title in the Grandia series is set to be showcased at May 20th. Not much is known about the MMORPG other than that it remains a PC game for now and that it is set before the first game.
New RED Entertainment Game
The latest RED Entertainment game will also be revealed on May 20th. The little known developer is responsible for underrated titles like Thousand Arms on Playstation, Gungrave on Playstation 2 and the upcoming Nostalgia on Nintendo DS.
Heavy Rain Blowout
On May 22nd, GameTrailers TV will take an in-depth look at the Playstation 3 exclusive, Heavy Rain. At the same day, the Playsyation.Blog is also putting up a video interview. So expect a huge blowout next week for Heavy Rain.
New From Software Game
On the same day as the Heavy Rain’s media blitz, From Software will also reveal their next title. Will it be a new title from the Armor Core or Tenchu series or will it be something completely different? We’ll find out soon enough.
Modern Warfare 2 Trailer
Finally, a brand new Modern Warfare 2 trailer will be airing on TNT during the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals next Sunday. It is a great way to end the week with probably the most popular game of 2009.
