If you can put up with the finicky controls, Red Steel has serviceable multiplayer.

As mentioned already, Mario Striker Charged and Boom Blox are both awesome for 4 players... so are Rock Band/Guitar Hero games if you have full kit...

Target Terror - i'm not kidding, this is awesome w friends
Ghost Squad - good but not as awesome as target terror
*u should rent both these games as they are both short

Also, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, & Wii Sports are really fun.

You already named all the good 4 player games I've played, so I don't have any personal recommendations.

However, I did hear that Dokapon Kingdom is supposed to be really good, but I understand it can take hours for a single game.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I would say:

  • Boom Blox -- fantastic game by itself and even more fun with friends
  • Rayman Raving RAbbids series -- the humor in all three of these is genius but no need to get all three.  If you have a balance board, get TV Party, if not, probably get RRR2.
  • House of the Dead: Overkill -- it's incredibly short but also incredibly awesome.
  • Excitebots/Trucks --  Both are a lot of fun and some of the best racers around.  Period.  Get ExciteTrucks if you want to be cheap, get ExciteBots if you want the better experience.
  • Warioware: Smooth Moves -- I don't know how many people you have, but if you can ever get the 12 person mutliplayer going this is one of the best multiplayer games *ever*.
  • Ghostbusters: the Video Game -- No, this isn't just a shameless plug, it's actually a good game that I have nothing to do with and happens to have split screen co-op.

Mario Kart - Double Dash - & Super Smash Bros Melee aren't too old ^_^ and Mario Kart 64 VC Battle Mode very sweeeeeeeet well this some classic of course if you like
Soccer or Naruto than Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 and PES 2009 aren't too bad.
