I was just thinking, GTA: San Andrea's was a great game, so great that its one of PS2 best games ever made. The game had a huge open environment and you could do just about anything. The game however looked bad graphically, mainly due to the PS2's power. However, this has changed now, and the PS3 is very powerful. But the important thing is that PS3 has Blu-ray, and with that amount of space, GTA: San Andrea's could be made, with a even bigger and open environment, and "superb" graphics.

Rockstar said that they would make a PS3 exclusive title. Many people thought that it was LA Noire, but Rockstar even said themselves that LA Noire was not the mystery PS3 title. Also by releasing this game Rockstar could show people what they wanted to show with GTA IV, which was to use the PS3's power to the limit. However, since GTA IV was decided that it would be multiplatform, Rockstar did not get the opportunity to use the PS3's full potential. In the end it would bring "pride" back to Rockstar's GTA franchise, and also would bring a lot of revenue for Rockstar.

Showing this game off at E3 would be a megaton bomb, and would be even bigger then GTA IV's first announcement.

In short form:

1. GTA: SA, would perfectly utilize PS3's Blu-Ray capabilities

2. Rockstar has yet to announce the mystery PS3 exclusive title

3. Would bring pride back to GTA franchise

4.$ Loads of revenue $ could be made off this game

5. Could be the Biggest news in E3 history

Maybe they can do a Vice City and San Andreas game, one for each respective HD console?

Didn't they say it was a new franchise that they were hoping to get as big as Grand Theft Auto?

if this idea was real I'd love it so much, gta San Andreas kept me occupied for months

I said the same thing a while ago

they should make SA2 for PS3

and a different version for the 360 (just like what they did with the DS and PSP)

GTA SA was my fav GTA game.Although Vice City started it all and alot of people prefer it more.They show combine the both,that would awesome.

But i wud definitely buy the GTA SA 2 if released on the PS3

Also Rockstar isn't one of those developers who just want to produce games every year like EA to take money.It was understandable with GTA 4 when PS3 userbase was very small.But now the PS3 userbase is much bigger and they like to create games the way they like and try to make them as good as they can get it to be.

GTA 4 was a step in the wrong direction for the GTA series IMO , a GTA SA would bring GTA to where it ought to be.

However as smart as it sounds I doubt it'll ever happen.

That's very, very, very, unlikely. They would make a exclusive sequel to one of the bestselling gta ever for PS3, a console with the smallest userbase? Euuh, no way.

Despite the huge sales of gta4 take two still made a loss. Releasing gta: San andrea's 2 for the PS3 only, when they need more income, is not going to happen. The investments alone would probaly never be covered, let alone any gains. It cost them like a 100 million to make the last one.

Yeeeeeeaj because the soloution to Rock*'s problems lie in a PS3 exclusive that would sell better on the 360 ... gees get real!!

If Rockstar release it on PS3,they would yield more income cause in Europe where PS3 games sell more,they price of a game is near 70 pounds,that is double of wat a game would earn them here.

360 sells more copies but they sell most of games in US where a games cost only 60$.

And if they release it exclusive to PS3,it wud boost system sales and then more people will buy the games in addition to the normal base.That way Rockstar earn more
