My best record on Mr. Dream from the original Punch Out!! is twelve punches before getting TKO'ed. I wonder if Title Defense Mr. Sandman is going to be that brutal.

He's easier than that.

Albeit barely.

Still haven't beaten the m*********er though.

How do you get the 5th star on Bear Hugger?

I have the tongue out one

right hook to the gut before his left hook

left hook to the gut on his right over hand swing

and right before his bear hug

Can anyone tell me how to get the other one?

@ PorkChop

He'll do a taunt by swinging his belly around at some point. Punch his belly at the right time (when it's sticking out at you).

Thanks! I'll give it another go.  I've tried that before, but to no avail.  It must be pretty precise huh?

the worst thing about the 5th, is he doesn't do that very often, and I've missed every time

I have the same problem with a few other boxers.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I finally kicked punched TD Disco Kid's ass yesterday. TD King Hippo was no problem at all but I'm now stuck at Piston Hondo. With his constant use of his Piston rush and his side switching uppercuts he really messes me up.

You have to block every punch by hitting the up button on the directional pad.  I'm guessing you are having issues after the first set.  Here is how you block all of them:

First set is four punches pretty simple  ^ ^ ^ ^

Next set is four and four so it is  ^ ^ ^ ^pause^ ^ ^ ^

Next is a little trickier because of the randomness it is either  ^ ^ ^pause^ ^ ^ ^ ^ or ^ ^ ^ ^ ^pause^ ^ ^

Yeah it's when he starts to mix it up that I'm having trouble but like with Disco Kid with practice I'll be able to pull through.

I prefer to just go for the one-jab knockdown. The timing is tricky, so sometimes he'll kick my ass, but the risk is well worth it.

I thought it didn't work on title defense because I've done it once. My hook hit him just as he was coming to me but he didn't fall down, it just stopped him from doing his rush.
