The responses in this thread have pretty much proved what I thought.

I wasn't bashing the game at all; it looks pretty cool, but I haven't heard a single thing about until I checked the releases on the VGC homepage.

Got my new game informer today and they didnt seem to high on it. Got a 6.25 with a 2nd opinion of 5, which would explain gamestop not promoting it much. Wouldnt expect other reviews to be much better to give it any real hype/publicity.

reviews, and the shitty demo killed the hype behind this game. I might pick this up once it reaches $19.99. This game can't be that bad, GRIN also developed the 2D remake on XBLA and PSN

I was considering this.

It's the first Capcom game in a while that has to succeed via quality rather than falling back on being a big name sequel.

However, they may have screwed it up. Lack of presence suggests Capcom aren't confident about it.

i thought rearmed was one of the best games of last year, and im a huge fan since the NES

i played the multiplayer demo tho, and it kinda sucked

Unfortunately, I agree. I think the game isn't going to appeal enough to the mainstream. Perhaps a few old school gamers will pick it up.

It'll flop quietly as it is on PS3/360. Had it been on the Wii, we wouldn't hear the end of it.

The demo was meh.

This game will flop. There is absolutely no interest. As most have mentioned I didn't know this game was even going to be released until I checked upcoming releases a few days ago. I wasn't too happy with the demo and screens looked crappy too. I will probably pick this up when it hits the bargain bin.

The game looks great, so I don't know why it's receiving so little advertising and attention ... I've almost lost interest in it because of that, and I think that everything I've seen from it looks spectacular. Capcom just aren't doing anything to hype me up.
