who gives a toss about that?

can we stop judging games by detailed analysis of the graphics alone.

can we talk about the game, the epicness, the atmosphere, the story, the lighting, the mood...

the OVERALL package.

Of course not.  Then Killzone 2 doesn't sound like the be all and end all of gaming.

I hope it gets released this christmas, if they do it's probably GOTY.

It's pretty hard to talk about anything other than graphics when all we have is a video... which probably has parts in game

@ tyig, EA's last finanical statement said it is coming Q1 2010, but I still hope that they can move it up, but it seems unlikely

Wow. Can't I be a litle optimistic here?

If it's all a plan to take Shepard out of the lights (as some here believe) there would be no need to kill anyone.

And if it's an attack, the ceiling of the ship that was gone wasn't the pilot's section but the one behind that. And a modern military ship should be prepared to provide some air and protection to the crew if somthing like that happens.

Just being optimistic. :)

I don't think Shepard is dead also. The "knowledge" of the Proteans that only he has could lead to some places to find new technology and could be the way to meet some of these new species (for good or bad).

But my worries with the Normandy being destroyed are the rest o the crew. And I mean the ship's crew not the ones like Garrus, Tali, etc. Does it mean Dr. Chakwas, Pressly and Joker are dead?

That's one of my concerns. I hope Sheperd doesn't die, I've been looking forward to developing several versions of the character over the course of the trilogy, and a big part of that is the relationships with the crew. They're great secondary/background characters. I hope Normandy gets fixed good and proper, I really like that ship!!

Also, I hope Captain Kurrahe (was that the Salarians' name, the guy on Virmire?) joins your team, or is at least in another mission. I really can't wait for ME2!

That is how you do a teaser trailer! With the tech problems ironed out this time, it could end up as THE definitive RPG on the 360...until ME3 comes along.
Could trilogy sales top 10million LTD?
Also. ME1 releases in Japan in a few days. I'm eager to see what kind of reception it gets.

I don't think ME 3 will be on the Xbox 360, hopefully they don't just stop after 3, we will want more Mass Effect

The series will end after Mass Effect 3. The Xbox 360 will get ME3 because it's due for 2011.

Screw the council!

Hopefully everything isn't that screwed up in Mass Effect 2 because I let them die

If you killed the council in ME (Assuming you were a renegade when you made that decision), the humans take over the council in ME2.

What i really want to know is... who the feck is the Shadow Broker!

This is where the series gets darker. I believe the Shadow Broker was the guy who sold all organics down the river.

If that was the case, then why did SB have a quarrel with Saren?

I think that the SB has ties to The Collectors more than anything else.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
