please correct me if i'm wrong:
- before FF7 release SE said that this game will use 100% psx POWAH and then came FF8 and FF9 and blown FF7 away with way better graphics,

- SE said that FF13 will use 100% ps3 POWAH(if i recall correctly people from /SE said that this game is only possible on ps3) and then it's being announced as multiplat,

- ps3 fanboys claims that GT5p is the best looking racing game EVAH, then came GRID and pwned GT5p really hard with not only car model on the same level as GT5p but also really good damage system and way better looking tracks and weather effects and yet ps3 fans still are claiming GT5p is better,

- now we have NFS: Shift that already almost 5months before its release pwns really hard GRID and GT5p graphically(especially in enviroment and effects) and sony fanboys are still claiming that GT5p is better,

and yes i played both GT5p AND GRID and both were on ps3.

 

and by the way how the hell an interactive movie that is built on in game cutscenes not possible on 360? especially when the only thing that is really impresive are character models - rest looks really average.

well he does say "too difficult" :p and for once hes not talking about the blu ray being the reason either.

 

its possible, just not cost effective to recode everything to run on the 360 because of the difficulty, so its just label "too difficult"

I'm sure they say that, but if push came to shove they could port the game over in less then a year with no problems.  But to be honest there is no monetary reason to... A game that is coded as close to the hardware as Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain just wouldn't make any real sense to port it over.  It would be better to create a compatible engine and bring the art assets over from the game... ala Ninja Gaiden on the PS3.  The engine that runs NG2 and DoA4 is build hard coded for the 360.  Itigaki coded the engine in machine language to get the most out of the system that he could.

If MGS5 is released on xbox 360, that will just expand upon your list

 It probably has nothing to do with the graphical Fidelity so much as the engine that the game is running on was build with the PS3 only in mind.  Porting an engine is to much trouble if it's build to specifically for a single system.

Beyond that, the more powerful system is irrelevant to me. Quality is everything, and Metacritic doesn't determine that for me. Why involve yourself in a conversation where you're STILL proving nothing?

1.They ARE on Sony Pay roll (Fact)

2.PS3 is more powerful than 360 (yet to be seen)

3.Heavy Rain  wont sell 750k lifetime (yet to be seen)

4.360 has more games rated 80+ than PS3 (Fact)

5.PS3 has higher average (cause less games)

 

Why cant you just admit 360 has more games rated 80+? Honestly are you that much of a PS fanboy? I can easly admit that iv seen nothing like KZ2 on 360.

 Nope,  Quantic Dream is in complete control of the Heavy Rain IP, they can release it on any other console they would like.



i think he is full of complete "bs" and he knows it, unless his company tested the 360 with the game running and actually used everything the 360 has, then his statement is a complete "lie". he never said ever that he or his company ever tried using the 360 to make this game, so how could he say it couldnt be done on the 360, unless its all part of the sony "only possible statement", they like throwing around. i will get the game, but i am losing respect for the dev though.
